Marcus Fabrics Designer Sew~Along Coming Soon!

I'm so pleased to invite you to participate in the first Marcus Fabrics designer sew-along called.....

Friends & Companions

We've assembled just some of the talented Marcus designers, both in the New York office, and scattered around the country, to offer you an opportunity to make a truly unique quilt featuring nine original blocks designed just for this event.

For ten consecutive Fridays, starting August 1st, you'll get to see the blocks, and receive block instructions from each designer by visiting their blog.  Oh, and there will be prizes, too!!  No doubt some of our gorgeous Marcus fabrics will be given as prizes.  Perhaps a surprise or two as well!

Our quilt features selected prints from Paula Barnes' Companions collection.

Would you like a kit to make your quilt just like ours?  Sure thing! (Quilt setting designed by Paula Barnes of Red Crinoline Quilts)

I will have a limited number of kits available until July 7th or until they're all gone, so don't delay!!

If you'd like to order a kit for the quilt top and binding click here.

You can also choose your own fabrics if you'd like.  Here's the yardage requirements:

For Blocks:

1/4 yard cheddar print
1/2 yard light print #1
1/6 yard red print #1
1/4 yard black print
1/6 yard blue print
1/3 yard of olive print

  11. Am looking forward to putting quilt together. Love the blocks. I have a Hitty (doll) from the book Hitty Her First Hundred Years. There are over 500 in the Hitty group. I will use each pattern again, back &
border each one and pass one to a Hitty Mum to use for her Hitty as a quilt. Hittys are 6 1/4" and these willl be wonderful for them. Joann Bentson
